Programs – Women’s Conference

Women’s Conference

March 3-5 & 10-12, 2023
“God Speaks”

God speaks, but are we making time to listen? Join us as we dismantle barriers like distraction and doubt that keep us from clearly discerning God’s voice in our lives. As we peer into Scripture and study what God reveals about Himself through His Word, we will learn from the lives of everyday Bible characters—not so different from us—how to lean in, listen to, and then respond to the voice of our Lord.

Pine Valley Women’s Conference allows women to step out of their current context, encounter Biblical teaching, and interact with other women on the same journey.   We provide space for church groups to gather and process as a small group as well as a number of activities for women coming on their own.  Here are some of the things we seek to excel at:

  • Good teaching  (Biblical, contextual, applicable)
  • Genuine service and kindness from our staff
  • Peaceful environment with opportunities to reflect  and connect with others
  • Open programming that allows you to choose activities that fit your group (adventure activities & personal reflection)

Please check out the tentative schedule below as we are changing things up this year!.

Speaker: Jamie Wood

Jamie will be speaking on “God Still Speaks: Overcoming Barriers that Keep you from Discerning God’s Voice”. Jamie is a Bible teacher from San Diego, California. She has 20 years of experience in Women’s Ministry, serving under Anne Graham Lotz in Raleigh, North Carolina, and helping to run the Women’s Ministry program at Shadow Mountain Community Church with Dr. David Jeremiah. She is the Founder and President of Discovering Truth Ministries, which focuses on providing Biblical application for personal life transformation. His work grew out of twenty years serving alongside Dr. John C. Maxwell where he focused on leadership for the emerging generations. Elmore has appeared in The Wall Street Journal, the Washington Post, USA Today, Psychology Today and he’s been featured on CNN’s Headline News and Fox and Friends to talk about leading multiple generations in the marketplace. Tim has written more than 35 books, including the best-selling Habitudes: Images That Form Leadership Habits and Attitudes. Tim and his wife, Pam, have two adult children, Bethany and Jonathan. He and Pam live outside of Atlanta. You can also find his work at:

Worship Leader: Kekoa & Amy Grover

Born in Kolkata, India, Amy started leading worship at 13, when God called her to step into the role of worship leader for her local church. Amy moved to the United States in 2004 with her family, where God opened several doors for worship ministry in small groups, worship bands through college, and high school ministry where she met her husband, Kekoa. She eventually joined the praise team at weekend services at Shadow Mountain Community Church and has been able to serve under worship pastors like Marshall Hall, Michael Sanchez, Charles Billingsley, and Tobin Davis for the last 13 years. Amy has led worship for Women’s retreats and Bible studies with Jamul Community Church, Shadow Mountain Community Church and Grace Church (Santee), and Hume Lake Christian Camps. Lastly, she has also had the privilege of joining Dr. David Jeremiah for Turning Point rallies.

Amy has a bachelor’s in Worship from San Diego Christian College and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Worship Arts through California Baptist University as she co-leads worship with her husband Kekoa, who is also the pastor at Shadow Mountain Community Church-Alpine Campus.
