General Policies

 

  1. Pine Valley Bible Conference Center is a multi-group use facility, therefore ministries who practice the "sign gifts" are encouraged to seek a facility more conducive to that style of worship.
  2. Keep buildings and grounds clean at all times.
  3. Groups must pay for all damaged or lost property beyond ordinary wear and tear, caused by any member or members of contracting group.
  4. NO SMOKING! Surrounding area is National Forest.
  5. No pets or other animals.
  6. Please practice modesty and good taste in dress. No short-shorts, bare midriff, braless look, etc. allowed.
  7. All lost and found items are to be turned into the office. PVBCC is not resposible for personal property that is lost, stolen or left behind. We will, for a period of 30 days, retain any item found.
  8. Boys and girls must stay away from each other's dorms.
  9. Shoes must be worn at all times.
  10. No alcohol or non-prescription drugs allowed.
  11. Guest group agrees to help ensure the quiet atmosphere by not using radios, televisions, or cd/tape players (other than for group teaching purposes).
  12. All historical relics found must be turned into the office.
  13. Telephone calls - If calls come for guests or leaders, we can only take a message and pass it on as soon as possible. All outgoing calls are to be made from the pay telephone in the front of the Dining Hall.
  14. Under no circumstances are guests to use gasonline, kerosene, explosives, flammable materials, firearms, or power tools while on the grounds. There is no storage of such items for guests.
  15. Rules for acceptance and participation as a guest group at PVBCC are the same for everyone regardless of race, sex, age, color, handicap, or national origin.
  16. All Reservation Requests must be accompanied by a deposit of 10% of the minimum guarentee. (Tentative verbal reservations are not valid unless accompanied by a written agreement and deposit withing ten days.)
  17. Insurance Note: Our camper insurance begins where yours terminates. It is only valid when your policy has been extended to its limits. In the event that you have no group or personal policy, our policy will provide coverage within its limits.
  18. Groups with less than 270 campers may be sharing the facilities with other churches. Programs can easily be run separately; however, everyone will eat together in the Dining Hall.
  19. ALL GROUPS ARE REQUIRED TO TURN INTO THE CAMP OFFICE A "SCHEDULE OF EVENTS" ONE WEEK PRIOR TO YOUR CAMP SO WE CAN COORDINATE OUR STAFF TO YOUR PROGRAM.
  20. For medical attention in case of emergency, Camp Coordinator must have a signed "Parent Release" form for all minors, not accompanied by a parent, while in camp. Also, a written list with names and addresses must be left in the camp office after closing for late insurance claims.
  21. Groups may arrive on the grounds after 5:00 PM Friday unless other arrangements have been made.
  22. Campers must bring bedding and pillow for our dorm facilities. All beds have mattresses. Full linens are provided for the shared bath and private bath lodges.
  23. A complimentary snack is provided on Friday evening in your meeting room. Our dinning hall is now serving meals buffet style. Please contact camp to arrange times for meals.
  24. For weeklong groups, the San Diego County Health Department requires a Health Form and one hour rest period after lunch for all minors in camp.
